Our First Home

October 18, 2010 - We first laid eyes on what was soon to be our first home.  It was pretty much everything we wanted (minus a bedroom) and then some.  It was close to a park, all the flooring inside was brand new, it was pretty easy to get to from the freeway, and best of all it was in our price range!  So what it was kinda out in the boonies, maybe it'll help curb our shopping and eating out, besides it's super close to Chris' work!  We thought it over for about 2 hours and then called our realtor and put an offer on it.  Yeah, we're kind of impulsive when we really like something. ;)

Next came the waiting game....BLAH!  Unfortunately, the sellers resided out of state, so getting things to and from them took a little longer.  But 48 torturous hours later, the sellers accepted our offer and the ball to home ownership began to roll!

Fast forward to December 13, 2010, Matt the realtor handed us the keys and after 8 years of cross-country moves, we were finally HOME!

Little did we know on that fateful day in December that by signing that purchase agreement we were also agreeing to take on a never-ending to-do/improve list.  Not to mention, we would become such frequent flyers of Home Depot, we probably could've earned enough points to fly around the world...twice.  So Project Make This House A Home is underway and the end is nowhere in sight....just kidding, I do see a little light...nevermind, that was just lint on my contact. :P

Now for the house tour!
